Fishermen Catch And Rescue Pregnant Hammerhead Shark

When fishing, it is a common occurrence for one fish to wrestle with another, or for some kind of commotion to ensue. This is what happened when a group of Florida fishermen fought with what they thought was a large fish while attempting to reel it in. It turned out to be an injured hammerhead shark who was pregnant with 20 shark pups. Read more about this below…

“We seen [sic] the tail, pushing out. They were trying to push their heads out, so i’m guessing the mom tried to give birth but she didn’t have the strength to push them out,” one of the fishermen told the station.
