Fishing Tournament To Raise Money For Sick Kids

Fishing enthusiasts in Michigan are putting their passion to good use by holding a fishing tournament to benefit St.Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital. There will be a salmon fishing tournament on July 8,2014. Each boat sponsorship is $750. Read more about the tournament below…

The tournament is designed to raise money for Helen DeVos Children’s Hospital and their Child Life Services Department through a salmon fishing tournament on July 8, 2014. More than 20 boats will depart Chinook Pier in Grand Haven, taking children from Helen DeVos and participants who sponsored the boats out for a day of fishing. Grand prizes are awarded for the largest fish in adult and child categories. Recent prizes included family yacht cruises, chartered fishing trips, and a new kayak.
